Ro: Hey guys, it’s Ro! Today I’m here
with my sister Mo! Mo: Hey everybody! Ro: And, Hasbro sent us two Easy Bake Ovens,
this is so cool! Ro: And I thought we gotta do something cool,
so today we are gonna be Ro: doing the Easy Bake Oven Challenge! Ro: The Easy Bake Oven Challenge is something
that Mo and I made up for fun. Ro: So today we are gonna be assembling these
recipes for points. Ro: We are gonna be assembling the Red Velvet
Strawberry Cake, the Ro: Pretzels, because Mo loves Pretzels! Mo: Pretzels and hot dogs are probably two
of my favorite foods! Mo: So I’m really jacked about these! I’ll
probably eat yours also! Ro: Huh! Oh my gosh I’ll have to fight her
off with these! Mo: You probably will! Ro: And last but not least, I picked out the
Chocolate Truffles, because Ro: I love chocolate! Ro: The Easy Bake Oven challenge is gonna
be very easy! Ah-ah-ah-ah! Mo: It might be easy for me though, I used
to have one as a kid and I Mo: used to use it all of the time, so, I
have a little bit of experience Mo: with the oven. Ro: Mo does have an advantage,
but I have a lot of Ro: experience decorating. Mo: That’s true. Ro: So, it’s a tossup! Ro: We have 2 of each recipe, and whoever
does a better job of assembling Ro: their treat will get a point. Ro: May the best Easy Baker win! Mo: Put ‘er
there! Ro: Molly! Mo: OK, which one do you want to do first? Ro: Oh Molly! How could I ever choose? Ro: Chocolate Truffles! Mo: Chocolate Truffles!
Ro: Yeah! Ro: Uh oh Molly, it says you have to be 8+.
Mo: I made it! Ro: To make these. Mo: I can make ‘em! Can
you make them? Ro: I don’t know! Mo: We have frosting. Ro: Pfft! Pfft! Ro: First step is to plug in your Easy Bake
Oven, check, and turn it on, Ro: it has to preheat for 20 minutes. Turn
it on. Mo: To make the batter, pour 1 devils food
cake mix and 5 teaspoons of water Mo: into a bowl, break up any lumps and stir
until smooth! Ro: Into a bowl, get in there, get in there! Ro: OK, 5 teaspoons. Mo: Don’t spill! Ro:
Gotta make ‘em perfect! Ro: Gotta make ‘em…. Ro: Ohh, yes! Ro: They’re, oh no I lost count! Mo: I’m really gonna put some elbow grease
in here! Errrrr! Mo: Have you ever heard that? Ro: No! Mo:
Elbow grease, you know, it’s like really Mo: getting in there and using your muscles.
Ro: Grease? Mo: Yeah. Ro: From your elbow? Ro: Step 3, lightly spray the baking pan with
cooking spray. Ro: Step 4, spoon the batter into the baking
pan, spread evenly, tip… Ro: if the batter is too thick, add a few
drops of water and stir. Mo: This is kinda thick, I wonder if I should
add water. Ro: I don’t know, I like thick truffles! Ro: I’m like kinda sad that I didn’t have
an Easy Bake growing up. Mo: What did you play with a lot growing up?
Ro: I can’t remember! Ro: My invisible friend. Ro: I made my mom make sandwiches for him. Ro: Here we go. Mo: Alright, 16 minutes, here we go! Ro: We’re pushing it into the cooling chamber,
and we’re gonna let it sit Ro: there until it’s completely cooled,
then we’ll take it out. Ro: Alright, now we’re gonna take him out.
Oh that’s cool! Mo: Oh, there we go, there we go! Ro: Look at that! Mo: Now it’s time to make the frosting. Mo: Make sure to get all that, oh! Ro: It’s a good thing I’m not wearing
white pants today! Ro: It’s OK, that’s a… New style now!
Mo: Ohhh! Ro: Mmhmm, that’s done! Mo: Crumble your cake in a separate bowl and
add half of the frosting. Ro: Oh I should take my rings off oopsies! Ro: Molly did you take your rings off? Mo:
I just did. Ro: I still got one. Mo: Oh my gosh! How many rings you got on
those little fingers? Ro: I got bling bling bling! Mo: Oh my gosh!
Ffft-ffft-ffft! Mo: I can’t, I can’t… Ro: Whoa, whoa
what are you doing over there? Mo: My hair’s in my face. Ro: Pfft! Let
me help you. Mo: That’s not helping! Mo: What if we just made one BIG truffle? Ro: Best day ever! That’s what would happen! Ro: Now for my favorite part, time to decorate.
We’re gonna take the remaining frosting Ro: and spread it on the outside of our little
balls and now we are gonna Ro: cover them with teeny, round sprinkles. Both: Ta-da! Ro: Here are the chocolate Truffles
that we made. Ro: Over here, these beauties are mine. Mo:
And these are mine. Ro: I was looking at the picture on the box,
and the truffle is completely Ro: covered with sprinkles, so I am gonna
give Mo the point because Ro: hers have more sprinkles. Mo: A point over here! Ro: Ding! A point for
Mo! Onto the next treat! Mo: And the next treat we’re gonna make
are some Red Velvet and Strawberry Mo: Cakes. Ro: Pour 1 red velvet cake mix
and 4 teaspoons of water into Ro: a bowl and stir until smooth, just like
last time. Ro: Molly are you using your elbow grease?
Mo: Oh that grease is in there! Ro: Time to bake, we’re gonna bake for 16
minutes, just like before. Ro: Now we’re gonna make the strawberry
cakes the same way. Ro: Now we’re gonna remove them, they’ve
completely cooled and I’m holding Ro: Cookie over here. Mo: She’s gonna eat,
try to eat it right when it comes out! Ro: This is difficult to bake and have a dog! Both: Ah-ahhhh! Mo: Oh she’s getting close, AH! Ro: Oh no! Ro: Cookie says, uh, what’s next is make
the frosting. Ro: Oh, the double mix! Is this what DJs feel
like? Ro: Now we’re gonna stack our cakes to make
it look like the picture, so Ro: we’re gonna start with the pink cake
on the bottom, and then add our Ro: pink frosting. Now you’re gonna take
your red velvet cake, stack it Ro: on top. Take your knife and you can cut
it into sections, I’m gonna cut Ro: it into 8. Frost the top, here we go! Ro: Now time to decorate! Ro: Aw! Now according to the picture they
stick straight up like that. Both: Ta-da! Ro: Red Velvet Strawberry Cakes! Ro: Over here we’ve got my little cakes.
Mo: And we have mine over here. Mo: I think I’m gonna have to give the point
to you on this one, I think Mo: you got more points for presentation.
Ro: 1 to 1, tie game! Ro: Onto the next treat! Mo: And it all comes down to the pretzels, who’s
gonna win this challenge! Mo: This is a big deal. Ro: Winner takes all,
right here. Mo: This is a big deal! Mo: OK! Ro: Alright, whats the first step? Ro: Pour 1 egg wash mix, 2 tablespoons of
water into a bowl, and stir. Ro: Now we’re gonna set these aside and
make our pretzel dough. Mo: You get 1 pretzel mix and 4 teaspoons
of water. And then you stir and Mo: press the mixture together until you form
the dough. Mo: Big decisions! We need to decide if we
want to roll them out and make Mo: little pretzels, or if we just want pretzel sticks. Ro: I want to make little Pretzels! Mo: OK! Ro: OK, make 6 little balls, and then we roll
them. Mo: Into ropes. Mo: Lift them up, oh you twist in the middle! Oh!
Look it’s a little pretzel! Mo: Oh my gosh, these are adorable! Ro: These
are really cute! Ro: Now use a pastry brush or your finger
to spread the glaze on top of Ro: the dough, then sprinkle a little bit
of the coarse salt. Ro: Oh my gosh! I love it! Mo: Oh you’re
going for it! Ro: Now it’s time to bake! We’re gonna
put it in the oven and bake it Ro: for 12 minutes! Mo: Alright! Ro: Oh yeah,
oh yeah! Ro: Now we’re gonna let them cool, and while
they’re cooling we’re gonna Ro: make the nacho cheese. This part is totally
optional, but, why not?!? Mo: We’re gonna pour the nacho cheese and
2 tablespoons of water into the bowl Mo: and stir it up! Both: Ta-da! Ro: Here are all the little pretzels that
we made! Ro: Over here we have my very salty pretzels! Mo: And over here are my pretzels! Ro: They
are adorable! Ro: Mo, I gotta hand it to you, those are
really well made, like you know Ro: how to twist a pretzel! Mo: Oh my gosh,
that was so fun, I’ve never Mo: made pretzels before, and it was really
fun to learn how to twist them and make them. Ro: Hmmmm, has she never made them before?
Or does Mo sneak out of the house Ro: at night and moonlight as a pretzel maker? Ro: Bbb-bbb-bbb, bbb-bbb-bbb-bbb-bbb! Ro: Congratulations to Mo! The victor of the
Easy Bake Oven Challenge! Mo: Oh thank you, thank you very much sister! Ro: Nice job sister, nice job sister! Ro: Our final score was two to one, so it
was close, but, Mo just Ro: pulled ahead with those pretzels, they’re
so adorable! Ro: I just wanted to say a big thank you to
my sister Mo for playing this Ro: game with me today! Mo: Aw! Ro: And, a
big thank you to Hasbro for Ro: sending us these awesome Easy Bake Ovens,
it was so nice. Ro: Thank you so much for sponsoring this
and making this happen. Ro: Huh, Mo! Which one was your favorite one to
make today? Ro: On 3. 1, 2, 3… Both: Pretzels! Mo: Oh yes! Ro: Oh, jinx-jinx-jinx-jinx-jinx! Mo: Yeah, that was so much fun because I’d
never made pretzels before. Ro: Me too! Mo: So, I learned something new! Ro: Cheers! Mo: Cheers! Ro: Cheers! Mo: Mmm! Ro: Mmmmmmmm! Ro: Om-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom! Mo: Hmmm-hmm-hmmmm! Hmm-hmm-hmm-hmm-hmm-hmm-hmm!
